EXAMS and MEDALS
Through the British Theatre Dance Association, Julie is able to enter pupils regularly for medal tests and examinations.
The British Theatre Dance Association Examinations Board is an accredited awarding body for examinations in Theatre Dance. The aim of the board is to provide the means to deliver safe and secure training in Theatre Dance achieving the highest possible standards through a system of graded examinations based on the progressive mastery model. To ensure that it is accessible to all, and to provide a fair and coherent means of assessment based on rewarding achievements.
The British Theatre Dance Association Examination Board is an awarding body approved by the regulatory authorities for England (QCA), Wales (ACCAC) and Northern Ireland (CCEA).

Pupils are also entered for Medal Tests through the British Theatre Dance Association. These tests allow pupils the chance to perform a dance, in their chosen subject, in costume, in front of an audience. Medal tests encourage a personal sense of achievement as well as building performance skills and confidence.
