SHOWS

The School stages a show every two years at which every pupil is invited to take part. These productions, held at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, feature pupils of all ages, who perform numbers in Tap, Ballet, Modern Jazz, Acrobatics, Cabaret and  Song/Dance and Drama routines. This is a fantastic opportunity for relatives and friends to watch their children perform and also to see what they can aspire to.

Pupils have the chance to appear on stage in costume and put into practice their stagecraft as well as their dancing. This gives them confidence and hones their performance skills.

Pupils attending the Stage Class also have the opportunity of appearing in Dance Displays often for charity and/or the elderly. They also appear at Her Majesty's Theatre in the West End of London and have performed locally in Pantomime, Opera, Cabaret and Classical Music Concerts, and also with the European Ballet Company at the Spa Centre, Royal Leamington Spa and Barrie Stacey Productions at the Lichfield Garrick Theatre, as well as further afield at the Royal Albert Hall.

Pupils in the Stage Class also participate in British Theatre Dance Association Technicons, which feature some of the country's top choreographers.
